Appreciate the insight here Scott but let's be honest; buyers are not going to abandon their posts for a picnic. Or a museum trip. A ballgame for free tickets? Yes. But they'll want the treatment and those trips are not cheap when considering airfare, hotel, dining, entertaining...These trips are paid advertisements and while I agree in those sentiments you stated but you should also be taking advantage of the presentation time.

Understanding that every buyer is different is key. I know some who would jump at a ballgame and others who could care less. I am consistently surprised myself how many are responsive to "low key" events especially when such get togethers are scheduled before or after work hours. Social activities particularly seem to resonate with those who work weekends and don't get to partake when the rest of the world is off.
